In Costa Rica

Tami and I arrived in San Jose tonight at 8:40 local time. Other than a few minor annoyances everything has gone brilliantly! We are staying at Hostel Bekuo tonight and hope to continue to Arenal volcano tomorrow. We are celebrating our safe arrival with a bottle of chilean wine.

Getting Ready for the Big Trip!

The big day: May 20 Tim and Tami leave for Costa Rica.
Projected day of triumphal return: August 19
Critical items purchased: Round trip tickets, Lonely Plant guidebooks, Kelty hiking pack, Olympus Digital SLR camera
What still needs buying: spacesaver bags!
